ROMNEY Chides Obama on Attack in Libya – WashWire – WSJ

By Sara Murray –

VANDALIA, Ohio – Mitt Romney, calling the consulate attack in Libya a “terrorist attack,” said the president has failed to level with the American people about the violence.

“That’s an act of terror,” Mr. Romney said in a Fox News interview Tuesday of the four Americans who were killed in the attack in Benghazi, Libya.  ”But the White House doesn’t want to admit it.”

President Barack Obama has not referred to the incident, which left the U.S. ambassador to Libya dead, as a terrorist attack.

“We expect candor,” Mr. Romney told Fox, which like The Wall Street Journal, is owned by News Corp NWSA -1.47%. “We expect transparency, especially when it comes to terrorism.”
